I’ve been deep in the tracks, and of course my Casio SK-1 has been with me in digital spirit. It’s unable to be played, but I’ve sampled every noise it normally makes and then some.
If you’re curious about the sound of a 1980s, semi-toy synthesizer, here’s the percussive part of the story. Between editing and nudging the timing on her voice tonight, my lovely assistant Vicki and I put together the following educational audio on the built-in rhythms of the SK-1. Vicki will be lending her sultry vocals to the next Wolf Interval track out the gate, as well.
